KAICO is a bio-startup from Kyushu University, established in April 2018 with the mission of “Changing the World with Silkworms.” Our goal is to deliver difficult-to-express proteins produced by silkworms as pharmaceuticals, diagnostic agents, and reagents to the world. Our core technology lies in the ability to produce proteins freely within silkworms. Together with our partners, we are taking on the challenges of new drug development.
